I have read a lot of science fiction in my life, and have seen a lot of sci-fi movies and tv shows; but I don't understand much about it. The technical science stuff is 'way over my head. But I enjoy the genre, and mostly believe all things are possible - or will be some day. I don't worry about explaining things like worm holes, or parallel universes, or artificial intelligence. I just accept them. So I can read about those things without subjecting what I'm reading to a technical scientific scrutiny. That being said, I loved this book! I found it to be refreshing and entertaining, and with a very likable hero. The story has a good flow, keeping me wondering and interested to the very end. The language is technical enough to fit the genre, but simple enough for readers of practically any age. All in all, I believe it is a great first novel by this author, and I am happily anticipating the sequel which is expected out later this year. Gotta love that Dirk!Product details

It's About Time A Dirk Beeson Space AdventureThe book It's About Time has an interesting, winding plot with a cast of characters and a suspenseful series of events that keeps the reader wanting to learn more. Readers can relate to the moral dilemma that Dirk, the main character, is facing as he fights against corruption in government and business, evoking comparisons to events occurring in today's world. However, comical relief is provided through the dialogue of the ship Sweetie and the robot FM. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in this series.
A fun adventure, interesting characters, strange villains, out of this galaxy places. I am looking forward to the next one. What kind of trouble will Dirk get into next?
This book was very good, it was fun to read and relatable to current Time. It was quite an adventure with a sense of humor. I am looking forward to a series of Dirk Beeson Space Adventures.
